Munchkin Creative behind the scene at Topdrawer (autumn 2011)

We thought we would share with everyone the exciting details behind the scene of our first show.

After a extreme busy period of preparation, the show finally arrived! We packed everything and never thought there would be that much to bring, as nearly half of the studio's items were in the car! As we arrived, we were so thrill to see our little home for the 3 days event ahead. We had millions of paper cut and were covered in dirt and glew but finally got our stand setted up. I was very emotional to see our product collection looked so beautiful on display and it was all coming to life! We met a lot of lovely people and had a phenonminal response with our products and designs. Thank you for everyone's amazing comments! We are planning for other exhibitions, so stay tuned for the news!

Coca Cola Art

Is the 125th anniversary of the first Coca-Cola sold — on May 8, 1886.
If you are a creative individual and enjoy a coke, check out our findings of some amazing images of both vintage & imaginative paintings and art created for Coca cola by various artist.

We personally love image 1,3 & 4. Image 1 brings you to a total imaginative world expressing excitement and absolutely full of joy. The 3rd and 4th images are two beautiful classic paintings, painted with extraordinary skills.

Hatastic!

There were a lot of fabulous hats at the Royal wedding. Gave us an idea to blog about creative hats! Fancy hats are not something that you were on a regular bases, but on special occasion it sure does add a sophisticated touch to your look. Beautiful Junk Art

We love Eco Friendly products & ideas. As this is a great way to help save our environment. We have discovered some amazing art to share with you. It was created by various artist around the world using junk/recycled materials.

This art piece (top photo) was created by Dave using reclaimed steel. We think it looks like a detailed sketch.
The bottom sculpture was created by Yong Ho Ji using recycled rubber tire. We think is a dragon, what do you think? Very impressive!

Neutral Desire

Want to Look good in neutral & earth tone? This post will give you some fantastic ideas from the latest fashion trend.
Our favourite is the Versace dress on the left from their SS 2011 collection, the detail on the dress is simply gorgeous with the bright sky blue sandals it looks rather striking!
We are big fan of winter boots. Christian Dior suede and leather boots were shown at the AW 2010-11 show. Using different material is a great way to present the design details.

Relax

We have been working hard and wishing the warm weather will arrive soon! So we thought to share with everyone the upcoming casual wear, interesting news and let's RELAX with a cocktail!
We love denim, easy to match and most important of all it looks good! Dries Van Noten on the left used a simple colour combo, comfortable and it looks great!
The necklace from Vivienne Westwood is very meaningful. She has designed a collection for the "Get a Life" campaign. The aims of the campaign is to stop global warming. We support Eco friendly and think this is a great idea!!
Madonna had announced to launch her own clothing line! She has also designed a range of sunglasses for D&G. What do you think?

Hello all, welcome to MunchkinCreative.com Blog. What a gorgeous shinny day to start our first blog! We love to share our passion, experience, trends, creative ideas with you all here.

As Valentine's day is approaching soon, we thought we would have a go to create a mood board combining our LOVE, interest and latest fashion trend to wish you all to "Have a LOVEly Day" this Valentine's day!

On very left of the mood board, the white dress from one of the most inspirational fashion designer McQueen. This dress is simply elegant and we think would be great for a romantic dinner.

Look at those colourful heart shapes, they are lace chocolates from Laduree! Look seriously yummy and beautifully presented!! Can also see Love bugs are in the air and spread around everywhere! on the tutu dress from House of Worth Couture.
